Job summary

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Director of Clinic Operations I to lead multiple practices within a defined region. You will guide operational policy, mentor managers, and ensure efficient day-to-day service delivery while partnering with physicians to deliver high-quality care.

In this role you will oversee budgets, staff performance, and revenue cycle initiatives, spending time across clinics to drive financial and clinical success in a growing network.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's level degree in business, healthcare or related discipline area is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of recent demonstrated leadership experience managing a clinic s practice operations is required.
  • Master's degree, MHA, MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to develop rapport with physicians.
  • Knowledge of clinical practice operations, budgeting, revenue cycle, scheduling and referral tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and service delivery of all practice sites.
  • Be actively involved in hiring processes and provide performance evaluations for managers.
  • Countersign with HR on disciplinary matters for effective resolutions.
  • Ensure the success of physicians and mid-level providers, fostering collaboration.
  • Review operational and financial performance monthly to strategize improvements.
  • Coordinate revenue cycle initiatives to enhance practice performance.
  • Manage annual budget development, ensuring adherence to financial objectives.
  • Maintain open communication with senior leadership regarding operational issues.
  • Regularly meet with physicians to discuss financial success and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote practice highlights.
  • Develop clinical revenue cycle policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze financial reports and legal documents to assess clinic performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's level degree in business, healthcare or related discipline area is required.

  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven team-oriented environment.
  • Possesses a track record of developing strong rapport with physicians.
  • Intimate knowledge of the day-to-day operations of clinical practice operations Financial and analytical expertise in budget development, physician practice productivity, productivity standards, revenue cycle management, provider relations, scheduling and referral tracking management and all other aspects relating to the management of a dynamic and growing practice.
  • A demonstrated record of accomplishment in areas such as fiscal management/ cost control; marketing and practice development; strategic planning and human resource management.
  • Significant skill in communicating with and relating to providers, including the ability to establish productive and cohesive partnership with providers
  • Proven ability to formulate and carry out operational plans for clinical practice operations Knowledge of legal issues related to clinical practice operations, employment law and fraud/ abuse rules.
  • Knowledge of project planning and ability to coordinate various projects and activities concurrently (multitasking/ prioritizing).
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and apply strong leadership skills in problem solving effectively.
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
  • Adept in decision making responsibilities.
