Job summary

Workday in Pleasanton is seeking a Director of Client Platforms to lead our global endpoint engineering and management organization, driving strategy, lifecycle, and security posture for thousands of devices.

You will partner with Information Security to enforce zero-trust, maintain patch cadence, and leverage AI to automate provisioning, L2/L3 support, and fleet compliance while growing a high-performing, globally distributed team and overseeing procurement and software licenses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT leadership experience.
• 4+ years leading global client platform teams.
• 5+ years with Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune.
• Experience managing fleets of 25,000+ endpoints across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
• Experience with enterprise security standards and EDR platforms.
• Proven budget management and large vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global hardware, OS, and endpoint management strategy across ecosystems.
• Collaborate with Information Security to enforce zero-trust baselines and rapid patching.
• Lead AI-enabled automation for device provisioning, config enforcement, and ticket deflection.
• Direct, develop, and scale a globally distributed team of engineers and architects.
• Own core platform stack including Jamf Pro, Intune, and deployment pipelines.
• Drive hardware procurement, OEM relationships, and software licensing optimization.
