We are looking for a DIRECTOR, Client Executive - ADVISOR GROWTH to join the BNY team. This role can be located in New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid


THE OPPORTUNITY


Advisor Growth includes initiatives that deepen our relationship with Clients to help them grow. Several new programs are underway that leverage relationships with third party consultants, subject matter experts as well as enterprise companies.


THE ROLE


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Director, Client Executive to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our business development activities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our go to market activities. This individual will be responsible for driving partnerships, including creating and maintaining our pitch library, preparing pitches for meetings, supporting competitive and company research, overseeing contract execution, and facilitating client onboarding. Additionally this individual will maintain records of deal flow and provide regular updates to management on progress and KPIs.


EXPERTISE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Business Development



  • Sign Partners: identify, engage and drive deal closure for B2B2C partnerships

  • Maintain Pitch Library: Ensure that our pitch library is up-to-date, organized, and accessible to the team. Regularly update and refine pitch materials to reflect the latest offerings and market trends.

  • Prepare Pitches: Develop and tailor pitches for specific companies, highlighting our value proposition and addressing the unique needs of each potential client.

  • Support Research Activities: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, understand industry trends, and gather competitive intelligence.

  • Contract Execution: Support contract drafting,negotiations and review in coordination with internal stakeholders and legal teams.

  • Client Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and positive initial experience with our company.


Deal Flow Management & Reporting



  • Manage Deal Flow: Miniating accurate and up-to-date records of all deal flow activities including leads, prospects, and closed deals, using CRM systems

  • Manage Deal flow status: Monitor the status of deals in the pipeline and flag any potential bottlenecks or delays to relevant team members

  • Generating Reporting: Generate regular reports on business development activities, including deal progress, pipeline health and KPIs

  • Provide insights: Provide actional insights and recommendation to management based on deal flow data and market trends


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to share insights, develop strategies, and support collective goals. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

  • Perform Intermediary: Act as a liaison between prospective clients/partners and internal teams to ensure seamless communication throughout the deal lifecycle

FURTHER QUALIFICATIONS


Preferred experience/qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related role.

  • Typically requires 10-15 years of total work experience and 3-5 years of management experience

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments or startups is a plus

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $147,000 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
