Job summary

Medix is seeking a Director of Client Coding Integrations to lead cross-functional teams responsible for end-to-end physician coding integrations during onboarding, acquisitions, system conversions, and operational transitions.

The role requires acting as the executive SME, aligning client leadership, revenue cycle, compliance, and coding operations to drive standardized processes, optimize reimbursement, and ensure financial success—with on-site and remote team leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
7+ years in physician billing, healthcare coding, revenue cycle, or HIM leadership
3+ years in a leadership or delivery role
Experience supporting physician practice operations or multispecialty groups

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end coding integrations for onboarding, acquisitions, system conversions, and transitions.
Serve as the executive SME throughout implementation, transition, and stabilization phases.
Evaluate workflows, policies, and staffing to drive large-scale operational improvements and standardization.
Partner with leadership to build post-integration action plans focused on quality, productivity, and compliance.
Facilitate workflow design and change management to ensure seamless transitions.
