Job summary

Carastar Health seeks a Director of Children's Services to provide strategic leadership, oversee outpatient therapy, school-based mental health, in-home teams, HUB services, and other children’s programs.

The role requires a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, licensure or eligibility, and 4+ years of leadership in behavioral health. You will guide staff, foster school and community partnerships, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field.
• Licensed or license eligible in an applicable behavioral health discipline.
• Experience leading children's and adolescent behavioral health programs.
• Ability to develop community partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the continued development, expansion, and improvement of Children's Services.
• Coordinate and oversee programs, including Outpatient Therapy, School Based Mental Health Collaborations, In Home Teams, HUB Services, and other children's programs as assigned by the Clinical Director.
• Develop strategies to increase referrals, program utilization, and access to services.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing professional development to supervisors and staff within Children's Services.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with schools, community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
