Job summary

Carastar Health is seeking a Director of Children's Services to provide strategic leadership, oversee growth and quality of children's behavioral health programs, and ensure regulatory compliance across all services.

You will collaborate with schools, families, and community partners, supervise staff, manage budgets and performance metrics, expand access to care, and represent the organization in community meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field and at least four years of progressive experience in behavioral health with administrative and leadership experience.
• Experience leading children's and adolescent behavioral health programs, developing staff, expanding programs or services, and establishing community partnerships.
• Must be licensed or license eligible in an applicable behavioral health discipline and obtain LGSW/ALC if eligible within three months.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for development, expansion and improvement of Children's Services.
• Coordinate and oversee programs including Outpatient Therapy, School Based Mental Health, In Home Teams, HUB Services, and others.
• Lead supervision, training and professional development for supervisors and staff.
• Establish performance expectations and promote engagement, accountability and growth.
• Develop strategies to increase referrals, access to services and community awareness.
