Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, college student personnel, higher education or related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in higher education and relevant work experience in career advising or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to take initiative and build relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and communicate proactively.
• Experience advising on resumes, interviewing and job search strategies.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for the center, developing and implementing long-term goals, policies, and programs.
• Monitor day-to-day program delivery, gather assessment, perform data analysis, and recommend improvements.
• Provide useful, accurate, and timely data and career outcomes reports to constituents; write reports on center success.
• Collaborate with on-campus partners to enhance programmatic support and offerings for students.
• Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and mentor center staff.
• Prepare annual center budget, authorize purchases, and monitor expenditures.
• Explore outside-funding initiatives including grant funding opportunities and partner sponsorships.
• Demonstrate support for community and belonging, and maintain a respectful, positive work environment
