Job summary

CPC Biotech in Minnesota is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to own customer expectations and global market requirements for Cell Therapy and Gene Therapy markets. You will collaborate with product management, sales, and engineering to translate market needs into roadmaps, drive automation strategies, and grow CT/GT segments worldwide, with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities include developing annual/long-term plans, partnering across teams, addressing automation needs, and shaping product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences and/or business.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in technology/product development.
• 5+ years in the biopharma market.
• Experience/education in cell culture, cell therapy, gene therapy.
• Engineering design/automation experience.
• Proven strategic thinking skills.
• Creative problem solver.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with fluid-handling products/single-use technology.
• Experience working with and understanding OEM and distribution channel dynamics.
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Become the SME regarding customer expectations and global market requirements for Cell Therapy and Gene Therapy markets.
• Develop understanding of products for biopharma CT/GT markets and understand strategies of CPC Biotech competitors and customers.
• Develop and implement annual and long-term strategic plans to grow assigned segments.
• Collaborate with directors, product management, and sales teams to meet customer needs and implement CPC Biotech products.
• Address automation needs for single-use connections in drug manufacturing and strategize pump/sensor deployment.
• Identify new products and improvements with product management and engineering based on market input.
• Contribute to market roadmaps for connectors, pumps and sensors.
• Collaborate on messaging and campaigns to increase leads and revenue in CT/GT segments.
• Engage with industry associations and represent CPC Biotech in strategic workstreams.
• Provide input into pricing/profitability strategies.
• Promote CPC Biotech capabilities globally and build relationships with key decision makers.
