Colder Products Company (CPC Biotech) in Minnesota seeks a strategic Biotech Market Lead to shape our Cell Therapy and Gene Therapy segments. You’ll guide product strategy, partner with product management, marketing, and sales, and drive global initiatives from the drug manufacturer to OEMs. Travel up to 25% is required.

You’ll influence pricing, roadmap planning, and market messaging while partnering with industry associations to elevate CPC Biotech’s leadership in life sciences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences and/or business
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in technology/product development
• 5+ years in the biopharma market
• Experience/education in cell culture, cell therapy, gene therapy
• Engineering design/automation experience
• Proven strategic thinking skills
• Creative problem solver
• Comfortable with ambiguity
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with fluid‑handling products/single‑use technology
• Experience working with and understanding OEM and distribution channel dynamics

Responsibilities

• Become the SME regarding customer expectations and global market requirements for Cell Therapy and Gene Therapy markets.
• Develop understanding of products sold into biopharma/CT/GT markets; understand global/regional strategies of CPC Biotech competitors and customers.
• Develop and implement annual and long-term strategic plans to grow assigned segments.
• Collaborate with connector, pump and sensor directors, product management and sales/application teams to meet customer needs.
• Address automation desires in the single-use connection process in drug manufacturing.
• Define strategies for pumps and sensors to enable automated drug manufacturing.
• Collaborate with PM and engineering to identify new products/improvements for CT/GT needs.
• Conduct market research and input into product roadmaps for connectors, pumps and sensors.
• Work with marketing to develop messaging and campaigns to drive leads and revenue in CT/GT segments.
• Engage with industry associations and act as CPC Biotech spokesperson internally.
• Contribute to pricing/profitability strategies.
• Promote CPC Biotech needs to global organization.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers and strategic accounts.
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as needed.
