Job summary

West Georgia Technical College seeks a Director of Career Services to lead college-wide career development, employer engagement, and student services across WGTC. The role focuses on building integrated career paths from admissions to employment and alumni engagement.

You will collaborate with Academic Affairs, Advising, Financial Aid, and regional workforce boards to create talent pipelines and expand Handshake and GCIS usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; minimum 3 years in career services or workforce development.
• Master’s degree preferred; experience leading student services or workforce programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead college-wide Career Services, including planning events and employer engagement.
• Develop talent pipelines and coordinate Handshake and GCIS platforms.
• Oversee WIOA program operations, data reporting, and contract management.
• Represent WGTC in workforce and community partnerships.
