Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks a Director of Capital Projects, Systems, & Reporting to lead capital project accounting, reporting, and strategic planning across the health system. You will manage systems, ensure robust internal controls, and partner with stakeholders to safeguard assets.

The role requires 8+ years in healthcare construction/accounting with leadership experience, and proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, accounting, business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in multi-entity organizations with 3–5 years in a management role.
• Knowledge of healthcare construction operations and supply chain processes.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital project accounting, reporting, and budget management to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Lead teams responsible for capital project cost accounting and project management systems.
• Monitor operational efficiencies and foster a collaborative work environment to achieve goals.
• Ensure compliance with system policies and internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate purchase requisitions, invoicing, and cash flow projections for capital projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic, operational, and capital planning.
