Job summary

BioPharma CDMO in Spokane, WA is seeking a Director of Capital Project Engineering to lead the capital portfolio across the site. This role drives planning, governance, cost controls, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance.

The successful candidate will have 12+ years in capital projects, 5+ years in BioPharma, and a proven ability to deliver complex programs within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction/Project Management or related field required.
• 12+ years in capital projects, program, engineering, CAPEX, or asset management.
• 5+ years in BioPharma industry with leadership of engineering teams.
• Experience delivering large, complex capital projects and portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead site capital planning, budgeting, and long-range capital strategy.
• Establish governance, stage-gate processes and project controls.
• Provide portfolio visibility on scope, schedule, cost, risk, benefits.
• Oversee capital projects from concept to turnover and closeout.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory expectations and quality systems.
• Lead PMO resources and develop leadership within the team.
