Job summary

Feeding America is seeking a Director of Capacity Building Services to lead enterprise-wide capacity building strategies and programs. You will partner with senior leaders to design capabilities, services, and resources that strengthen network performance and drive measurable impact.

The role involves strategic leadership, staff development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to align capacity building with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of nonprofit leadership or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing enterprise-wide frameworks and service models.
• Ability to lead cross-functional planning, design, and strategy development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the enterprise-wide Capacity Building Way of Working.
• Partner with leaders to design capacity building plans and resources.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Capacity Building Services.
• Build and maintain cross-department partnerships to reduce duplication and improve impact.
• Lead the Capacity Building Services team and foster a collaborative culture.
• Represent the function in organizational initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Support donor proposals and funding opportunities related to capacity building.
