Job summary

American Osteopathic Association is seeking a Director, Candidate & Diplomate Experiences to lead the Certifying Board Services function and the shared Specialist team. This hybrid role requires in-person presence Tuesday and Wednesday in Chicago, with remote work rest of week.

You will supervise 4–6 Specialists, drive service standards, and partner with boards and stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in certification, credentialing, association management, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Experience serving as a staff liaison to boards, committees, or volunteer leadership groups.
• Experience supervising and developing staff in a service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shared Specialist function with four to six staff.
• Oversee certification support services for candidates, diplomates, boards, and stakeholders.
• Define service standards, response expectations, and quality measures.
• Coordinate examination administration activities and board communications.
• Monitor performance indicators and prepare reports for leadership.
