Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Director of Practice Operations for Cancer Care, split between Waldo and Pen Bay Cancer Care. This leadership role drives operational excellence across oncology clinics, infusion services, and staff development, ensuring high-quality patient care and experience.

You will partner with clinical and administrative leaders to plan, implement, and optimize programs, while maintaining regulatory compliance and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Five years of progressive financial and administrative management in a hospital outpatient practice environment required.
• Oncology care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for Waldo Cancer Care and Pen Bay Cancer Care.
• Oversee provider-based oncology operations and infusion services.
• Collaborate with IS, HR, Revenue Cycle, Credentialing, Legal, Finance to ensure compliant operations.
• Support strategic planning and growth of oncology services across both locations.
