Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of progressively responsible professional experience in student conduct, residence life, or a closely related area.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a hearing officer and managing student conduct processes.
• Knowledge of student development theory, restorative practices, and student conduct best practices.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to build trusting, respectful relationships with students, staff, and campus partners.
• Familiarity with student conduct and student success technology platforms (e.g., Advocate or similar), preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and institutional systems (e.g., Workday or similar).
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic in high‑pressure or emergencies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to emerging concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the Student Conduct Office, including case intake, investigations, hearings, resolutions, and follow‑up.
• Identify behavioral trends, develop preventative strategies, and implement coordinated interventions with campus partners.
• Develop and facilitate educational programs focused on community standards and restorative practices.
• Collect, analyze, and report student conduct data to identify trends and inform prevention efforts.
• Serve as a Title IX Deputy and participate in Title IX processes as designated.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Student Life.
