Job summary

Sunrock Distributed Generation is seeking a Project Development Director to lead the development of its commercial and industrial solar and energy storage portfolio. The Director will oversee the Project Development team and be accountable for advancing projects from LOI through NTP.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, commercial judgment, and renewable energy development experience, working cross-functionally to drive project execution, manage risk, and position projects for

Qualifications

8+ years of renewable energy project development experience.
Proven track record developing commercial and industrial (C&I) or distributed generation projects to Notice to Proceed.
Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

Lead project development for a portfolio of solar and storage projects from LOI through Notice to Proceed (NTP).
Oversee budgets, schedules, forecasts, development milestones, and capital requirements.
Coordinate with Business Development, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Construction, and Asset Management to ensure project execution and handoff.
Manage external relationships and report portfolio status, risks, and key decisions to senior leadership.
