Base pay range

$165,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Position Overview

The Director of Business Systems is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and evolution of enterprise systems with a primary focus on Salesforce. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce platform technologies—including CPQ/ Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, Sales and Service Cloud, Einstein AI, and Marketing Cloud — as well as strong leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional teams and business stakeholder relationships. The Director will drive innovation, ensure alignment with the organization’s growth strategy, and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.

Position Holder is Accountable For:

  • Lead the architecture, configuration, and roadmap planning of Salesforce applications including CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Revenue Cloud.
  • Direct hands-on configuration and development experience using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Flows, and integrations via APIs and middleware.
  • Oversee Data Cloud configuration and ensure optimized use of data models, deduplication, and data normalization.
  • Integrate Einstein Generative AI, Agentforce and Salesforce Copilot into business workflows to drive intelligent insights and automation.
  • Stay current on platform advancements and proactively propose innovative solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce Admins, Technical Leads, and Business Analysts.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment, providing technical guidance and aligning team prioritization.
  • Ensure continuous professional development, growth and capacity building within the team.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Alignment

  • Build strong relationships with business units to understand their strategies and proactively recommend system enhancements.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful translation of business needs into system solutions.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and maintain the long-term roadmap planning for Salesforce and related systems.
  • Guide additional system selection, implementation, integration, and post-deployment support with a holistic view of RQI Partners’ digital ecosystem.

Data, Analytics & Reporting

  • Lead data architecture efforts to support strategic insights and executive dashboards using tools like Salesforce reports, CRM Analytics, Tableau and Power BI.
  • Ensure high-quality, actionable data to support business decisions.

Support & Compliance

  • Oversee support operations using Jira and Freshservice ticketing systems.
  • Manage QA, UAT, sprint planning, and release cycles.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and audit standards.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role with Salesforce platform expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of CPQ/ Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud, and Einstein AI.
  • Hands-on expertise with LWC, Apex, Flows, integrations (REST/SOAP APIs), and middleware platforms.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring technical and functional Salesforce resources.
  • Strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advanced analytical and decision-support capabilities using data visualization tools.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, CPQ, AI, Advanced Admin) highly desirable.
  • Experience with other enterprise systems (ERP, Financial, Analytical tools) is a plus
  • Experience with data analysis and migration projects is very helpful.
