Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union in Vienna, VA seeks a senior leader to manage the Risk Intelligence Unit under the VP, BSA/AML & OFAC Compliance. You will direct the BSA/AML/CFT program, set strategic goals, and ensure efficient operations across regulatory requirements.

You will oversee CIP, CRR, KYC, CDD/EDD, and collaborate with ETS and onboarding teams to implement solutions, monitor risk, and respond to regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership and people-management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC compliance requirements.
• Experience with regulatory examinations and audits.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and budgets.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RIU operations with 45-50 staff, setting vision and goals.
• Lead BSA/AML/CFT functions and related CIP/CRR/KYC programs.
• Monitor models, risk assessments, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with ETS and onboarding teams to ensure compliant systems.
• Serve as liaison with regulators and law enforcement; manage vendor relationships.
• Develop training and education strategies enterprise-wide.
