Job summary

Major League Soccer is seeking a Director, Media Operations to manage broadcast operations for MLS and SUM events from our Stamford production facility. This role requires in-office presence four days a week, with one remote day, coordinating with internal teams and partners to ensure seamless content delivery.

Responsibilities span matchday oversight, incident management, and tentpole event planning (All-Star, MLS Cup). Advanced Spanish and 8+ years in live-broadcast operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Advanced Spanish language required.
• 8+ years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Broadcast Operations Center and matchday oversight.
• Coordinate communications with stakeholders and partners.
• Lead incident management and live decision-making.
• Refine matchday command structures and post-incident reviews.
• Plan and execute tentpole events (MLS All-Star, MLS Cup, SUM).
