Job summary

Major League Soccer is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Matchday Operations to support delivery of MLS regular season matches, playoffs, and marquee events. You will handle live-match issues, coordinate with clubs and venues, and apply league policies to ensure high-quality experiences.

The role requires 3+ years in event/sports operations, a related bachelor’s degree, and the ability to work non-traditional hours. Hybrid in-office with some remote work and travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management, Sports Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in event operations, sporting operations, competition operations, matchday operations, or related field, preferably in sports.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day execution of Matchday Operations for MLS regular season, playoffs, and marquee events.
• Serve in Matchday Control, resolve operational issues, and coordinate resolutions with clubs, venues, and stakeholders.
• Identify operational trends and risks and recommend process improvements.
