Job summary

San Joaquin Delta College invites experienced construction professionals to join its Management team as a leader in architectural, engineering and planning for district facilities. You will coordinate renovation, construction and major maintenance across structural and systems, driving schedules and budgets while aligning with energy/environmental mandates and state funding processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including faculty, staff and administrators.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting and cost estimation capabilities for multiple projects.
• Proven experience coordinating design, engineering, and construction activities on complex facilities projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty, staff and administrators to prepare designs, plans and estimates for renovation and major maintenance projects.
• Coordinate with external firms and district departments to manage bid processes and contract administration.
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Oversee procurement, contract bonds, insurance and change directives for district projects.
• Maintain district as-built drawings and facilities inventory; support state funding submissions.
