Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Director, Trustee & Advisory Board Relations to serve as a strategic and operational partner to the Senior Division Director, OEVP. You will lead engagement with the Board of Trustees, ensuring governance excellence and high-touch experiences for senior volunteers.

The role coordinates advisory boards and supports recruitment and onboarding of Trustees. You will work with trustees, leadership, and internal partners to optimize meeting processes, materials, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years of management experience.
• 9–10+ years of board relations or governance experience.
• Strong knowledge of governance and trustee engagement best practices.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Outstanding organizational, writing, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders, Trustees, and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with CRM/development databases and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Trustee records, giving processes, acknowledgements, and related workflows.
• Coordinate board meetings, calendars, logistics, and materials.
• Support advisory boards and governance programs across the department.
• Lead onboarding and recruitment of Trustees, including orientation and materials.
• Collaborate across internal partners to ensure aligned governance priorities.
