Job summary

NYU Langone Hospitals is seeking a Senior Division Administrator to lead multiple administrative and financial functions within a medical division. The role focuses on budgeting, grants management, and faculty support while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee revenue, capital planning, and operational metrics, collaborating with chairs, division directors, and hospital leadership to align strategic goals with fiscal performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Administration or related field; minimum 10-12 years of progressive leadership experience in an academic medical center.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are essential to interface with diverse internal and external groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversees financial management of the division, budgets, variances, and funding analyses, ensuring appropriate approvals and reporting.
• Oversees grant management and clinical research compliance within the division and coordinates with departments for clinical trials and grants administration.
• Provides administrative recruitment support, develops business plans for faculty recruitment, and coordinates offer letters and resource allocation.
• Plans and develops new programs, establishes division goals, and submits periodic reports on division initiatives and performance.
• Oversees policy development and regulatory compliance across the department/division, including QA/QI processes and regulatory changes.
• Manages facilities planning and capital equipment processes, ensuring cost-conscious decisions and project oversight.
• Supervises academic programs, residency/fellowship scheduling, and coordination with residency directors and hospital leadership.
• Manages non‑physician staff, performance reviews, training, and ensures adherence to HR policies and hospital guidelines.
• Oversees clinical operations and revenue cycle management, including registration, verification, billing, and KPI analysis, with the Hospital leadership for program growth.
