Generate:Biomedicines seeks a Director of Biotherapeutic Production Technologies to lead protein expression, purification, and characterization for discovery and early development. You will shape strategy across multiple expression platforms, drive automation, and partner with CROs/CDMOs to ensure scalable, high-quality material for program decisions.

You will balance operational execution with scientific innovation, mentoring teams in stable cell lines, vector design, and multi-gene expression,

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or MS with extensive industry experience leading protein-production teams.
• Proven track record in mammalian expression and purification workflows.
• Experience partnering with CROs/CDMOs and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the functional strategy and technology roadmap for Biotherapeutic Production Technologies.
• Oversee expression across transient mammalian, stable CHO, and cell-free systems.
• Establish standards for material quality, data integrity, and decision-making.
