Qualifications

• A deal sheet summarizing deal history - roles and dates required (please include this with your resume in your application).
• Bachelor’s degree in life science; MBA, JD, or PhD preferred.
• At least four years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or investment banking within biopharma.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and evaluate potential licensing partners, synergistic platform collaboration opportunities, and strategic partnerships that align with Schrödinger’s growth strategy.
• Lead and/or support cross-functional teams (R&D, Legal, Finance) in rigorously evaluating external opportunities.
• Support partnership workflow and negotiation of term sheets and definitive agreements (CDA, MTA, Licensing, Research Collaboration).
• Serve as a point of contact for external biopharma business development representatives; attend industry conferences and events (e.g., JPM, BIO).
