University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Director, Benefits & Human Capital Management Support with a flexible work schedule. The role leads Benefits, Leave Administration, ADA accommodations, and HCM support, ensuring compliance and optimizing service delivery across the employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the AVP of HR, you will drive strategic HR initiatives, collaborate with NSHE and external vendors, and oversee procurement, RFPs, and market trend analysis to advance UNLV's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, public administration or related field.
• Eight+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, including 5+ years overseeing benefits, leave administration, HR operations or related areas, and 3+ years in supervision.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate’s degree with two additional years of relevant experience or four additional years of relevant experience may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Benefits, Leave Administration, ADA accommodation, and Temp Employment and HCM Support.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, NSHE and university policies and drive continuous process improvement.
• Develop partnerships with campus stakeholders and external vendors to optimize service delivery and benefit options.
