Job summary

Copper Springs is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to oversee all clinical treatment programs across inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. You will ensure high‑quality, integrated care, lead counseling teams, and manage discharge planning for effective transitions.

The role requires a master’s degree in social work or related field, an active state license, and at least three years of inpatient behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited program.
• Independent Counseling or Social Work license required per state regulations.
• Three years of clinical experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Three years of experience with the patient populations served at the facility.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• De-escalation certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical treatment programs for patients in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings.
• Leads delivery of high-quality, integrated clinical services and supervises individual/group counseling.
• Develops and implements therapeutic modalities; oversees discharge planning for smooth transitions of care.
• Ensures clinical documentation is accurate, current, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Participates in regulatory surveys and accreditation processes (e.g., Joint Commission, state licensing).
• Coordinates performance improvement initiatives and monthly reporting.
• Supports treatment teams with patient-centered care and clear communication of plans with families.
