Job summary

The Hughes Center, a part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Director of Behavioral Services to lead patient care units, train providers in ASD/ABA/behavior management, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. You will design and direct a research-based continuum of care aimed at measurable outcomes and successful reintegration of patients to families and communities.

Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee staff, collaborate with clinical teams, and drive trauma-informed care initiatives

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctorate preferred in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Clinical Psychology, or related Human Services field.
• At least 5 years of experience providing services and leadership to programs serving children and adolescents with ASD or related neurodevelopmental disabilities, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Previous management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, educate, and evaluate all patient care providers in the areas of ASD/ABA/behavior management.
• Oversee daily programmatic structure of the patient care units, ensuring active engagement in therapeutic groups and daily tasks.
• Lead the continuum of care that leads to measurable outcomes and reintegration of patients to home/community.
• Coordinate therapeutic incentive programs for individualized treatment approaches.
