Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Director, Technical Solutions to define strategy and governance of technology, data, and analytics across Clinical Development, including AWS-based platforms, data science and regulatory compliance.

You will lead vendor partnerships, implement scalable solutions, and drive AI-enabled capabilities to accelerate data-driven decisions while ensuring inspection readiness and cross-functional collaboration with Quantitative Sciences, IT and Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or information sciences; MBA or PM cert preferred.
• 15+ years in pharma/biotech/CRO leading technical projects or supervising teams to deliver data/analytics solutions.
• Experience with AWS/EDC platforms, data integration, analytics tools, and data visualization.
• Experience managing technical teams and collaborating with IT and cross-functional partners during system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead QS data and analytics systems strategy and technical development initiatives.
• Set governance, standards, and best practices for analytical platforms and data flow.
• Oversee AWS cloud platform design, deployment, and lifecycle in regulated settings.
• Drive innovative analytics and AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead vendor assessments and manage technical partnerships to meet business needs.
