ThePerishableAutomationDesignteampioneersautomationconceptsshapingWalmart’sgrocerydistributionfuture.Combiningautomationengineering,industrialengineering,analytics,operationsexpertise,andbusinessstrategy,theteamaddressescomplexchallengesinfreshandfrozensupplychains.Theirworkbeginsearly,evaluatingemergingtechnologies,developingoperatingconcepts,andmodelingoperationalandfinancialperformance.Theteamensuressolutionsoperatesafely,reliably,andeconomicallyatscale,bridgingautomationinnovationwithpracticaloperationstodelivertransformationalimprovementsacrossWalmart’snetwork.
- Leadanddevelopahigh-performingteamwhileestablishingtheengineeringpractices,talent,andorganizationalcapabilitiesrequiredtorepeatedlydevelopandscalenext-generationautomationsolutions.
- Ownthestrategyandend-to-enddesignforthefutureofperishableautomation,translatinglong-termnetworkandbusinessneedsintoscalableautomationarchitectures,operatingmodels,andtransformationroadmaps.
- Establishthedevelopmentroadmapfromearlyconceptthroughcapabilityvalidation,pilot,investmentdecision,andscalabledeployment,definingclearsuccesscriteriaanddecisiongatesalongtheway.
- Connectdesigndecisionstocapital,operatingcost,capacity,andnetworkeconomicsusingengineeringanalysis,simulation,andfinancialmodelingtoinformmajorinvestmentdecisions.
- Demonstratedabilitytobuildanddevelophigh-performingteams,navigateambiguity,andestablishstructureanddirectionforfirst-of-kindprograms.
- Provenexperienceleadinglarge-scaleautomation,distribution,engineering,orsupplychaintransformationwithincomplexoperatingenvironments.
- Deepunderstandingofdistributioncenteroperations,warehouseprocessdesign,materialflow,capacityplanning,andautomationsystemintegration.
- Strongbusinessandfinancialacumen,includingexperiencedevelopingbusinesscases,evaluatingcapitalinvestments,andbalancingCapExandOpExtradeoffs.
- ProvenabilitytoleadthroughinfluenceacrossEngineering,Operations,Finance,Construction,Technology,andexternalpartners,includingcommunicatingcomplextechnicaltradeoffstoseniorexecutives.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
