Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a strategic Director, Associate General Counsel for the Security Business Group (SBG).

You will lead a team delivering front-line counseling on product development, go-to-market strategy, and regulatory matters across SBG's portfolio. The role requires deep experience advising executives on IP, licensing, data, privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and technology transactions, with a focus on scalable risk-managed solutions in a dynamic tech environment.

Formación

• JD or equivalent law degree required.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one jurisdiction.
• Extensive experience advising enterprise technology, software, cloud, cybersecurity, or observability businesses.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop, and inspire the legal teams supporting the SBG units, establishing clear priorities and delivering high-quality legal support across the organization.
• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior business leaders on product development, technology strategy, go-to-market models, regulatory requirements, IP, licensing, data, privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and related matters.
• Guide legal support for SBG products and services through their lifecycles including development, readiness, launch, commercialization, integration, and compliance.
• Develop scalable legal strategies and operating models to enable innovation while managing risk across security software, cloud, data, AI, and platform offerings.
• Collaborate across Product Legal and with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, privacy, security, regulatory, AI governance, competition, corporate development.
