Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years leading engineering teams, with experience managing managers
• Built and operated complex distributed systems where correctness, reliability and security are critical
• Experience leading a sizable engineering organization with managers and senior ICs
• Strong technical credibility with senior engineers; deep on architecture and reliability
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly with evolving requirements
• Experience working with Product, Security and Compliance to keep teams aligned

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy, roadmap and delivery for Assets & Issuance, balancing speed to market with reliability and controls for regulated clients
• Review designs, pressure-test tradeoffs, and lead by example in hard technical decisions
• Build and grow the team: hire senior engineers and managers, develop leaders, shape an ownership-driven culture
• Lead through incidents: on-call standards, incident response, root-cause analysis and follow-through
• Partner with Product, Security, Compliance to design secure and auditable systems with built-in controls
• Drive architecture of wallets, key management, ledgers, settlement and blockchain integrations
• Represent engineering to executive leadership and translate complexity into priorities and commitments
• Immerse in blockchain tech, digital assets, and regulation-first approach
