Job summary

St. Patrick Center in St. Louis seeks a Manager of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Programs to supervise the ACT team, provide leadership in clinical services, and oversee program operations within a compassionate, equitable framework.

You will oversee staffing, coordination with partners, and ensure high-quality treatment planning for clients with complex mental health and substance use needs. The role requires a master’s degree in counseling or social work, licensure or licensure-eligible

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in counseling or social work required.
  • LMSW, LCSW, PLPC or LPC preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising a team or relevant professional experience.
  • Driver license and personal vehicle with auto insurance.
  • Drug test to be completed within 30 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of mental illness, chemical dependency, Housing First and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Experience in counseling and case management.
  • Ability to lead, motivate a team and self-motivate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Counseling and crisis intervention expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of the ACT team and manage coworker schedules.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding and annual performance planning.
  • Collaborate with grant partners and community agencies.
  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments and adapt treatment plans.
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients in office and community settings.
  • Maintain client tracking system and documentation for auditing.
  • Foster a respectful, diverse and equitable team culture.
  • Coordinate with leadership on service-line initiatives and on-call coverage.
