Job summary

Astera Labs in San Jose, CA, seeks a Director of ASIC Technical Program Management to lead the US TPM team across multiple programs from planning through production. You will mentor TPMs, maintain visibility into status, and stay hands-on when needed.

This role requires deep ASIC lifecycle experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to align engineering delivery with business priorities.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 15+ years of ASIC product development experience in a semiconductor environment.
• Strong program management and leadership demonstrated in matrixed, high-pressure settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the US-based TPM team across cross-functional ASIC programs from planning to production release.
• Own milestone planning, dependency management, execution reviews, risk mitigation and reporting.
• Ensure program readiness at tapeout, power-on and production gates with executive visibility.
• Partner with external partners and customers as a senior program representative.
