Director Area Independent Living Sales

Pay Range: $132,200.00 - $190,300.00+ Annual

What You’ll Do

As the Director Area Independent Living Sales, you will serve as a key sales leader responsible for driving occupancy, revenue growth, and sales excellence across assigned Lifespace Communities.

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed occupancy and revenue targets for Independent Living (IL) communities
• Partner with, mentor, and support Community Sales Directors to strengthen pipeline health, improve performance, and elevate sales execution
• Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, pricing, and occupancy performance to identify growth opportunities
• Drive lead generation, referral development, tours, and sales conversion strategies across multiple communities
• Collaborate with Executive Directors, Sales Leaders, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align sales efforts with business goals
• Evaluate and optimize pricing strategies to maximize market competitiveness and revenue outcomes
• Lead regular sales reviews, performance discussions, and strategic planning sessions
• Utilize CRM tools and reporting to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and implement action plans

What You Bring

• 8–10+ years of senior sales leadership experience, ideally across multi-site or regional operations
• Direct experience in CCRC/Life Plan communities with strong knowledge and experience selling LifePlan models, Type A and Type B contract sales
• Proven success driving occupancy, revenue, and sales performance across multiple communities or regional markets
• Deep understanding of IL sales strategy, consultative selling, and long‑cycle decision‑making within senior living
• Strong expertise in market analysis, pricing strategy, competitive positioning, forecasting, and sales pipeline management
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing high‑performing Community Sales Directors or similar sales leadership teams
• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office tools
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred
