Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the Martech Architecture practice in the US. You will shape capabilities, roadmaps, and blueprints aligned to business goals, working across IT and business leadership to drive strategic decisions and standards.

The role requires deep expertise in Martech platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager) and strong stakeholder management across multinational teams.

Qualifications

Experience defining and aligning Martech architectural roadmaps to business strategy.
Experience with Salesforce and Adobe products and platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, Workfront, and Adobe Assets.
Experience with rationalisation, consolidation, and integration across business domains using a formal framework.
Experience influencing senior business and IT partners to adopt change or innovative solutions.
Experience managing and negotiating with third-party suppliers.
Masters and/or Professional Certification desirable.

Job description

Provide enterprise design thinking and support for AstraZeneca's Martech Enterprise Architecture
Define architecture strategy, direction, and standards for Martech
Analyze business priorities and strategies and translate them into enterprise architecture requirements
Act as an authority on strategic architecture decisions for the relevant architecture segment
Refine Martech architecture strategies, mentorship, and criteria
Lead development of Martech Architecture Roadmaps and Blueprints over a 1-5 year horizon
Ensure continuous alignment of capabilities with business priorities and objectives
Contribute to cross-functional decision-making bodies
Act as sign-off authority for solution and segment architectures, blueprints, and roadmaps
Nurture Enterprise Architecture initiatives across IS
Engage external architecture subject matter experts to stay current with trends and technologies
Advise senior IT and Business management strategically
Drive and oversee development of Architecture Roadmaps and Blueprints
Ensure Martech architectures align with global strategies and solutions
Lead development and implementation of Enterprise Architecture standards, processes, tools, and setup
Establish strategies and AZ approaches for management of key information
Analyze IT industry and market trends and determine their potential enterprise impact
Establish partnerships with key technology suppliers
Provide thought leadership and sophisticated technical expertise for Martech enterprise architecture
Drive continuous development of the Architecture Capability within IS through standard process sharing
Work with business and IT leadership to shape AstraZeneca's Martech architecture portfolio

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years Enterprise Architecture experience
Experience defining and aligning Marley architectural roadmaps and strategies to business strategy
Experience with Salesforce and Adobe products and platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, Workfront, and Adobe Assets
Experience with rationalisation, consolidation, and integration across business domains using a formal framework
Experience with large Justification phase work, including product evaluation and case formulation
Experience influencing senior business and IT partners to adopt change or innovative solutions
Experience defining and developing components of an Enterprise Architecture practice
Experience managing and negotiating with third-party suppliers
Experience managing, developing, and leading teams in different locations
Strong networking skills with good internal/external links
Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills at senior levels
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language
Awareness of marketplace developments and their relevance and potential impact to AZ IS
Ability to work well in diverse, multinational teams and influence others to achieve positive outcomes
Ability to recognize important aspects of business
