Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University is seeking a Director of Annual and Leadership Giving to provide strategic leadership for comprehensive annual giving and mid-level donor programs. You will drive participation, retention, and growth across diverse donor segments and collaborate with academic chairs, athletics, and advancement teams to ensure aligned messaging and donor experiences.

The role oversees all campaigns (digital, mail, events) and stewardship activities, fostering a donor-centered culture

Qualifications

• Fundraising, business, marketing or sales background.
• Social media and marketing skills with analytical aptitude.
• Project management and constituent engagement experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with highly creative.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Passion for Christian higher education and alignment with OBU's mission.

Responsibilities

• Build a comprehensive annual giving strategy across direct mail, email, digital and events.
• Lead annual fund, mid-level donor programs and engagement initiatives.
• Oversee segmentation, messaging and creative direction with Advancement Communications.
• Design multi-channel appeals to increase donor participation and renewal rates.
• Collaborate with staff and students in annual giving and engagement functions.
• Partner with CRM and Data teams to analyze donor trends and retention metrics.
