Job summary

St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, VA seeks a Director of The St. Catherine’s Fund to grow the School’s Annual Giving program. The role reports to the Director of Development and collaborates with faculty, staff, and volunteers.

The position is full-time, salaried, and 12-month, with responsibilities including managing multi-channel giving strategies, donor portfolios, and major events, while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience managing an Annual Giving program.
• Experience with volunteer management is essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge, RE NXT, and GiveCampus preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development colleagues, administrators, faculty/staff, and volunteers to implement effective giving strategies.
• Manage a multi-channel Annual Giving program (direct marketing, social, print, email) to grow donors and dollars raised.
• Oversee a portfolio of leadership prospects for The St. Catherine’s Fund.
• Lead St. Catherine’s Give Day and coordinate activities.
• Serve as the primary contact for the online giving platform.
• Cultivate and steward alumnae, parent and grandparent volunteers; recruit/train volunteers and manage related activities.
• Manage stewardship and gift acknowledgments; back-up Gift Processor in Raiser's Edge as needed.
• Run data reports to inform strategies to grow The St. Catherine’s Fund.
• Support major school events, including evenings/weekends.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information.
