Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking a Director Analyst to provide research and advisory to global clients in the US, EMEA and beyond. This remote role is based in Europe and focuses on transforming financial reporting systems across R2R processes with AI and automation.

You will meet with clients daily via videoconference or at Gartner events, delivering must-have insights and actionable recommendations that help CFOs and controllers improve performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• 8+ years of experience leading accounting transformation projects supporting AP, AR and R2R in large multinational organisations.
• Strong knowledge in working with accounting automation and AI vendors and technologies associated with AP and AR.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Ability to conduct occasion travel up to 25%, regionally and globally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for transforming controllership processes; AP, AR and financial close.
• Guide clients in transforming these processes using AI and automation techniques for CFO outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality advice through face-to-face and video-based presentations and discussions with clients.
• Remain ahead of developments across accounting technologies and related finance transformation topics.
