Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• Deep understanding of emerging AI-enabled software development tools and agent technologies, markets, costs, and providers.
• Recent experience in bringing AI-driven solutions to market.
• Strong attention to detail for complex systems requiring new cybersecurity approaches.
• Critical thinking, curiosity, and self-motivation to identify early technology signals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Executive presence to engage with C-level clients and respond effectively to questions.

Responsibilities

• Lead research initiatives on AI safety and security topics, focusing on physical AI ecosystems.
• Develop and execute broad research agendas for AI safety across physical AI domains.
• Serve as primary authority on physical AI safety and security technologies and market dynamics.
• Identify emerging AI trends and potential disruptions before they become mainstream.
• Lead primary research including expert interviews, case studies, and qualitative/quantitative analysis.
• Analyze competitive landscape of emerging physical AI applications and players.
• Assess AI readiness, pathways to commercialization, and adoption barriers across sectors.
• Evaluate geopolitical dimensions of physical AI development and regulatory frameworks.
• Publish authoritative research papers and briefings on physical AI trends and implications.
• Present findings to executives, product leaders, investors, and technical communities.
• Support Gartner’s reputation as global AI authority and build ecosystem relationships.
• Synthesize perspectives from technical experts and end users to facilitate dialogue.
