Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Nevada, LLC seeks a Director for Ammunition Logistics & Demil Operations at the Hawthorne Army Depot. This on-site role leads the Ammunition and Demil Directorate, directing resource recovery, EOD/OB/OD, maintenance and inventory accountability while ensuring compliance with federal, state and corporate guidelines.

You will oversee strategic planning, budgeting (P&L), and execution; mentor staff; uphold safety and environmental stewardship; and report to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in arts/sciences or management field required.
• 10+ years in military or munitions operations with 2–5 years executive management experience.
• Government-contracting experience preferred.
• Must obtain Nevada driver’s license and government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute operations at Hawthorne Army Depot.
• Comply with contractual requirements for Ammunition and Demil Directorate operations.
• Manage resources and budget (P&L) for the Directorate.
• Implement safety, security and environmental stewardship.
• Provide oversight, mentoring and ethical leadership per DI/Ethics standards.
• Perform duties and adapt to higher-level tasks when needed.
