Qualifications

• 7+ years of investment or consultant relations/sales/relationship management experience, with pre-existing knowledge and relationships within alternative markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Consultant Relations strategic approach toward alternative investment consulting firms and support related objectives with traditional consulting firms for Lord Abbett Alternatives.
• Partner with Institutional Sales and Relationship Management teams to foster a high-trust environment and collaboration toward goals.
• Act as primary relationship manager on global and national alternatives consulting firms, leveraging Lord Abbett resources for differentiated solutions and best-in-class client experience.
• Drive engagement across consultant organizations focusing on Manager Research, Field Consultants, OCIO, and Senior Management to promote our investment capabilities.
• Understand consultant research agendas and trends to inform internal awareness and spark future product development.
• Represent Lord Abbett in the institutional marketplace and bring external themes back to keep the firm current with industry insights.
• Understand key competitors and industry trends, developing deep knowledge of the firm, culture, capital markets, and investment capabilities across fixed income, equity, and alternatives.
• Represent Lord Abbett at industry functions and conferences.
