Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a senior leader to serve as Director of Air & Space Force and Federal Civilian Operations and Growth/Capture. You will drive end-to-end growth, capture, and engagement across Air Force, Space Force, and Federal Civilian portfolios, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and profitability.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in program and contract management with profit-and-loss responsibility.
• Strong track record growing service-oriented government contracting businesses, ideally with Air Force/Space Force or Federal Civilian customers.
• Experience leading or supervising business development, capture, or growth teams.
• Deep understanding of government acquisition environments, contracting vehicles, and program offices.

Responsibilities

• Organize and develop leaders to ensure disciplined execution of services, products, and contracts across portfolios.
• Oversee contract execution to meet performance, schedule, cost, and profitability objectives.
• Lead full lifecycle growth and capture strategies across Air Force, Space Force, and Federal Civilian sectors.
• Identify opportunities and coordinate with delivery, solution architecture, finance, and operations to win bids.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and industry partners; represent the company in strategic discussions.
