Job summary

College of DuPage seeks a Director of AI Strategy & Technology Partnerships to lead COD’s institutional strategy for AI and immersive technologies. You will work with academic leaders, ITS, and admin units to embed AI into instructional design, operations, and decision-making, guiding policy implications and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years in emerging technologies or technology leadership.
• Experience leading AI-enabled or immersive technology initiatives.
• Strong collaboration with faculty, technologists, and administrators.
• Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks, data privacy, and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of COD’s institutional AI and immersive tech strategy.
• Partner with academic leadership, ITS, student services, and admin units to embed AI in instruction and operations.
• Advise senior leadership on AI trends, opportunities, risks, and policy implications.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate AI across disciplines and programs.
• Support AI-enabled learning tools, simulations, digital twins, and intelligent tutoring systems.
• Promote ethical, inclusive AI use to enhance access and student success.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions across analytics, reporting, and automation.
• Build partnerships with tech companies, research institutions, and government agencies.
