Job summary

College of DuPage seeks an Associate Dean to lead adjunct/part-time and full-time faculty support within Academic Affairs. You will collaborate to recruit, orient, train and develop faculty, and oversee classroom observations and performance feedback.

Working with the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence, you will help design an AI strategy, support faculty across COD locations, and ensure adherence to collective bargaining agreements while advancing student success and institutional

Qualifications

Master’s degree required in an academic discipline offered by the College.
5 years minimum of College-level teaching experience.
Supervisory/managerial experience required.
Background check and drug screen required.
Evening hours and travel to other COD locations may be needed.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and management for adjunct/part-time faculty support across COD locations.
Orient, evaluate, supervise, and develop professional growth for adjunct faculty and staff.
Serve on committees, participate in events, and support recruitment and onboarding.
Develop and deliver professional development for faculty in collaboration with divisions.
Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and College policies.
