Job summary

Ford is seeking a Director of AI Program Management, OS, System & Data to govern enterprise AI initiatives and drive value realization. You will set stage-gate criteria, run cross-functional councils, and manage the AI portfolio's operating rhythm to keep programs aligned with strategy at scale.

You will lead governance for enterprise‑level AI bets, ensure delivery standards, and escalate issues when necessary, all while partnering with Finance for benefits realization and ensuring executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 8+ years of experience in program governance, PMO leadership, or portfolio execution at enterprise scale.
• Experience setting stage-gate criteria and delivery standards across multiple programs.
• Experience running cross-functional councils or steering committees with legal, HR, Finance and technical stakeholders.
• Track record building operating cadences with recurring reviews, reporting cycles, and executive filings.
• Experience diagnosing at-risk programs and driving path-to-green recovery.
• Experience partnering with Finance on benefits realization or value validation.
• Strong executive presence with ability to hold sponsors and leadership accountable.

Responsibilities

• Own AI Big Bet governance standards, stage-gate criteria, delivery expectations, and value realization.
• Run the Agentic AI Business and Technology Councils to align on cross-functional decisions.
• Own operating rhythm for the AI Portfolio — forums, owners, review calendar, CEO/Board filings.
• Oversee executive reviews to ensure programs hit committed outcomes.
• Manage cross-bet dependencies and remove delivery blockers.
• Maintain recovery plans for at-risk programs and ensure accountability.
• Collaborate with Finance on benefits realization and independent value validation.
• Escalate unresolved bets to the appropriate governance forum when needed.
