Job summary

Evidence Action's AI Access Initiative is seeking an Associate Director or Director, Program Innovation & Evidence to own the engine behind this work: testing, improving, and delivering AI-enabled forecasts; partnering with academics to develop new forecast types; and building the cost-effectiveness evidence base.

This role leads at least one senior manager, travels internationally (~20%), and reports into the VP, Agriculture.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years building international development programs.
• Experience designing randomized evaluations (RCTs) and A/B tests.
• Track record translating evaluation results into program iteration.
• Proven ability to scale organizations and work with governments.
• Leadership experience across distributed and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Own forecast testing and optimize formats, framing, and delivery channels.
• Pilot new forecast delivery channels (chat, WhatsApp, SMS, social media).
• Lead development of novel forecasts with academics and benchmarks.
• Coordinate with in-country teams for M&E improvements.
• Develop and update cost-effectiveness analyses for agriculture programs.
