Job summary

Aircall in Seattle is seeking a Director, Forward Deployed Engineering & AI GTM Lead to own the technical execution, go-to-market effectiveness, and organizational adoption of Aircall’s AI Communication Agent.

You’ll lead the Forward Deployed Engineering team, stay close to customer engagements, and collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure AVA is positioned, implemented, and scaled with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Leadership across technical and GTM teams in a complex deployment environment.
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on APIs, integrations, and coding ability.
• Experience with AI, conversational AI, or related domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow the Forward Deployed Engineering team from 3 to 7–8 by H1 ‘26.
• Stay involved in active customer engagements, providing technical guidance and strategy.
• Drive AI Agents go-to-market execution with disciplined operating practices.
• Pilot data-backed operating models with KPIs to measure deployment success.
• Represent field needs to influence product and roadmap decisions.
