Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Director of AI Products and Solutions in Houston to define and drive AI-powered products across drilling operations and customer workflows. Deep domain expertise in oil and gas drilling and a track record implementing GenAI to real-world problems are required.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, partner with operations and customers, and ensure products deliver measurable business outcomes through field deployment and adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive oil and gas experience with drilling operations, drilling technology, well construction, drilling services, or digital solutions.
• Experience leading technology or digital product initiatives from problem identification through deployment and adoption.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into product strategies and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of AI-enabled products for drilling operations and customer workflows.
• Identify opportunities where AI, GenAI, analytics, and automation can improve performance and value.
• Translate challenges into product requirements and drive solutions from concept to deployment and adoption.
• Define requirements for integrating real-time and historical rig data and other data sources.
• Champion Generative AI and AI-enabled decision-support in drilling workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Software Engineering, and Data Engineering to deliver production-ready products.
• Evaluate emerging AI platforms and strategic partners to accelerate delivery.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI Products & Solutions team and drive deployment and change management.
• Engage with customers and field operations to ensure adoption and measurable outcomes.
